This was my first dress from Cottagecorewear. I had an issue with the ribbon on the back. Oda was very quick in helping me and the issue was quickly resolved. :)
I really like the model and material of this dress. I feel like a princess while wearing it! I absolutely love that there is room in the dress to tighten or loosen it as needed.

This is my 2nd Fawn! I decided to stay true to size for this one (XS) instead of sizing down (previous one 2XS). I wanted more room in the waist and in hindsight, looking at the size chart, the XS is definitely the right size for me.
Now the Maxi length is certainly not petite friendly, and mine is just a couple inches from touching the ground. But I did buy it with the intention of getting it hemmed because I love this color so much!

Shopping for clothes has always been a challenging experience for me. As a curvy, non-standard sized woman, learning what styles flatter me and make me feel feminine has been a long journey of discovery.
I am so incredibly happy that I found Oda and the beautiful clothes she creates through CottagecoreWear. This dress is such beautiful quality and fills me with confidence. It has a beautiful weight to it and the linen/cotton mix feels so nice - I love having the opportunity to purchase beautiful clothing in natural materials!
It is perfect with the Ruth top, but I love that I can have a more "everyday" look (for me) without a blouse underneath. I also love that this dress has a pocket (on the right-hand side), but I do find it amusing that I keep forgetting which side it is on (maybe that's a left-handed person problem?). I have found doing the zip up by myself a little bit challenging. But my solution is to not put my arms through the armholes when I put the dress on, twist the dress so the zip is at the front, do the zip up, and then twist the dress back to the right place. It's easy to then do the shoulder straps up before doing the lacing at the back (which I found surprising easy to do by myself!).
Sizing details: I went on measurements for my bust and waist and ordered a 2X. Despite my hips being outside of the 2X size range, the skirt of the dress is very generous so I have no issues fitting my wide hips! I also have a high waist and love how the corset top cinches me in perfectly (although a couple of extra bones around the sides and back would be nice to help minimise the back bulge). I also feel supported enough to wear this dress without a bra, but the straps are wide enough that it is easy enough to wear a bra with minimal visibility. The length is absolutely perfect for me too (I'm roughly 5'5, or 167cm) but I am excited to eventually buy this dress in the midi length too!
