Description

CottagecoreWear first started as a corset and stays brand. My bodices remain my speciality, and I knew I wanted to bring a full silhouette corset dress to the brand as well. Fawn is that dress. With a fully boned bodice, a nordic style belt, its super voluminous skirt and maxi style, this dress will shape, hold and support you in all the right ways.

All my dresses aim to adjust, grow and shape to your changing body. And the Fawn is no exception. She has adjustable shoulder straps, so that no matter your height and preferred bust coverage, you can adjust the dress to fit your body perfectly. The back lacing helps to further cinch or loosen the dress. And of course - the Fawn dress is fully lined for opaqueness and features a hidden side pocket, so you can carry all your trinkets while exploring in the dress.

The Fawn is made in a linen/cotton mix, so that it always feels nice and natural on your body while still being light and comfortable for the warmer months. It features an invisible side zipper with hooks and eyes closure to support. It also comes with a detachable matching woven nordic style belt, that can be tied and styled in a multitude of ways. Wear it on its own for that darling corseted silhouette, or how I love to - with one of our blouses .

All our dresses come with a care card to help guide you on how to wash, dry and iron your new piece to make it last until forever.

Made in 55% linen and 45% heavy natural cotton, and lined in 100% cotton. The dress measures 40 inches from waist to hem, measured on size M. All belts measure 57 inches across sizes, as these are a given woven size. Meaning that the length of the tails of the belt may differ between sizes once worn. Original design by CottagecoreWear in-house, and manufactured in a limited quantity in collaboration with a small ethical production site in Hong Kong. We ship all our pieces from our offices in Norway.

Mulberry Fawn = Perfection!

I adore the dress and the two blouses I purchased about a year ago. I love mixing and matching the pieces and wearing the dress throughout all seasons. One of my favorite past-times is wearing this magical ensemble to various castles and museums I visit and I feel beautiful, strong, and confident every time I wear it. The quality is great. The deep pocket is practical and fits my iphone. I am 5'5" (165 cm) and the maxi skirt (size S) rests just about the ground while wearing shoes. I appreciate how active Oda is in promoting inclusivity and gathering opinions from her customers on Instagram. I hope to purchase more pieces in the future!

Mulberry Fawn

This was my first dress from Cottagecorewear. I had an issue with the ribbon on the back. Oda was very quick in helping me and the issue was quickly resolved. :)
I really like the model and material of this dress. I feel like a princess while wearing it! I absolutely love that there is room in the dress to tighten or loosen it as needed.

Mulberry fawn

This is my 2nd Fawn! I decided to stay true to size for this one (XS) instead of sizing down (previous one 2XS). I wanted more room in the waist and in hindsight, looking at the size chart, the XS is definitely the right size for me.

Now the Maxi length is certainly not petite friendly, and mine is just a couple inches from touching the ground. But I did buy it with the intention of getting it hemmed because I love this color so much!
