Frøya Pinafore Dress - Oak

Favourite Frøya in the new oak colour way!
One of the staple pieces in my cottagecore wardrobe is my pinafore dresses. I usually always wear one when sewing, and it is the best throw-on outfit while still looking cute and put together. I always knew I wanted to bring one to CottagecoreWear as well, and after months of testing, the Frøya dress was made. Named after the norse goddess of love and beauty, the Frøya dress embodies delicate details with a side of fierceness to it.

While planning how to best make this dress, I tested all kinds of designs and ideas. The Frøya dress was the combination of all those things I was looking for! It is made in 100% heavy linen, so that it always feels nice and natural on your body. With a defining waistline and a super voluminous skirt, the dress makes for a super darling silhouette. It closes fully with an invisible side zipper (with hooks and eyes closure to support), so that you can even wear it without anything underneath during those warm summer days. Or wear it how I love to - with our Wayfarer Blouse. 

The adjustable straps can be tied in a multitude of different ways: in traditional shoulder bows, as a halter neck, or more anonymously by tucking the excess into the waistband. That way, you can adjust the dress both to your height, preferred tightness and style of the day! And of course - the Frøya dress features two hidden side pockets, so you can carry all your little treats while exploring in the dress.

Original design by CottagecoreWear in-house, and manufactured in a limited quantity in collaboration with a small ethical Chinese production site. Made in 100% heavy natural linen, in a midi-length of 32 inches from waist to hem. This order ships from our offices in Norway.
